An Exciting Milestone: Melissa Hertell Nominated for the Top 50 Women in Accounting 2024!
I am incredibly honored and thrilled to share that I have been nominated for the Top 50 #WomenInAccounting from Ignition for 2024!
This recognition is particularly special to me as it’s the first time I’ve received such an honor since starting my firm full-time just over a year ago.

Leading with a teacher’s heart has always been my guiding principle. I never expected to receive anything other than the pure joy and satisfaction of seeing others grow and succeed with just a little help or support. This recognition is a testament to the incredible community that supports and uplifts each other.
Since taking my firm full-time, my plan has always been to grow it into a CPA firm that brings more diversity into the field. Leveraging the tools I’ve learned through my neurodivergent journey and my experiences in the industry, I aim to inspire change, advocate for diversity, and support smaller companies.
I also want to thank Ignition for recognizing all the wonderful women in accounting through these awards!
